Emily has grown over this time into a confident senior stylist, building up her own clientele and becoming a recognised hairdresser in the local area. Her passion for the job shows in her dedication she has towards her clients, creating the right style to suit you. She is able to share her knowledge with clients giving them the confidence to try something new if she thinks this would be best. The knowledge Emily has gained over the years has given her confidence in all aspects of female hairdressing. Kelly has been hairdressing for 24 years, mainly specialising in colour. Kelly is trained in all areas of hairdressing but her passion is in colour and it’s her natural flare. Kelly with select and create the perfect colour for your hair, taking into consideration everything from your skin tone, maintenance and up-keep, to ensure the results are what suits you and your lifestyle best. Kelly’s keeps herself up to date with all new colour trends that come out. Having worked in Oldham all her career Kelly has built up a clientele from word of mouth which is always the best recommendation, and looks forward to getting to work on clients hair old and new at The Hair Lounge. Ila has been with us for 4 years now and has gone from strength to strength. It was obvious from the start Ila had a passion for hairdressing always practicing at home throughout her training and constantly watching videos. Her colouring & knowledge is excellent for a new stylist. But make no mistake just because she is a new stylist her standard is very high. I know she will shine and grow over the years now as part of our team and her client list is already growing. Ila will now continue to receive in salon training to get her to gain more confidence & knowledge as she can start to focus on specialist areas.

Karen has a passion for hairdressing & everything within the industry. From an early age Karen wanted to be a hairdresser. Karen has been a hairdresser for 26 years and has won many awards and recognitions for her skills and creativity within the hairdressing industry. Karen has represented Great Britain twice in Paris with the Prestigious Inter Coiffure worldwide competition. Winning young presenter of the year at her first competition & up against 7000 other hairdressing hopefuls in the UK- wide Wella Trend Vision competition, Karen reached the finals. Putting her skills and creativity to work, she formed The Hair Lounge in 2009 & has never looked back. This is her dream. Karen has a natural flare when it comes to cutting and colouring, her creativity and passion shines through in every style she creates. Karen also specialises in putting hair up for special events such as Weddings, school proms and ladies day at the races. Whatever your event Karen will personalise a hair up style just for you. She still continues to attend training courses now. Karen can create a style that works for you or something a bit out of the norm whatever your requests.
